Why We Sell Firewood
Movement of any/all firewood from infested and/or quarantine areas is prohibited in accordance with the Pennsylvania Plant Pest Act of 1992. All such regulated firewood will be confiscated and destroyed. First time offenders will be issued a warning letter by Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, with repeat offenders subject to prosecution according to provisions in the Pennsylvania Plant Pest Act. Even if you are not within a quarantine area using local firewood is best. Do not take wood home with you and do not leave firewood - Burn It!  - More Information -

Breakneck Campground will be closed starting August 28th as we prepare for the transition to Cheeseman Fright Farm.  The Campground will reopen mid-November.  For more information on seasonal activities, please visit the Cheeseman Farm, Cheeseman Fright Farm and Pumpkin Festival websites.

deckNestled by McConnell’s Mill State Park, Breakneck Campground is the preferred venue for hikers, kayakers, climbers and nature enthusiasts wanting to experience the park. We are open year round except for September and October when we are host to Cheeseman Fright Farm.

Outdoor recreation areas are located nearby for kayaks, canoes, hikers, mountain bikers, rock climbers and fishermen. Moraine State Park is a 10 minute drive away with swimming, boating, bicycling and picnicking.
